And now I have a column in Andrompreneur that identifies New Year's Eve and New Year's

Day as the worst day of the year for small businesses. Gene, my experiences are all closed.

Is that why? Because it's a bad day?

No, that's not the reason at all, John. Look, I write every other week for Entrepreneur

and I've been wanting to write this story for a while. And it was reminded to me when I

was out of client just a couple of weeks ago. And we were talking about the holiday season

and we were looking forward to it. This is a guy that's been running his business for

like 30 years and he's like, you know, every year, I hate New Year's Day, New Year's

Eve and the New Year's Day if I hate it. And I'm like, why? You know, is it like you're

hungover and he's like, no, no, no, no, it means because we got to start all over again.

You know, we had a good year. 2022 was a pretty good year for most companies in this country.

It really was. But you know, once January 1st comes around, John, it's the new calendar

year. Everything starts all over again. And unless you're the kind of business that's
