Place yourself in a comfy, cozy position.

Close your eyes and take a long, slow, deep breath.

And as you breathe out, relax. and take a long, slow, deep breath.

And as you breathe out, relax all of your body.

Now take a big deep breath into your nose. And slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth,

pushing all the air out of your lungs.

And again, big deep breath in through your nose and gently breathe out through your mouth

pushing all the air out.

Yeah. all the air out. One last time, big breath in through your nose,

and then slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth.

Now just relax and let your breathing come back to its normal rhythm.

Now I want you to imagine that you have roots growing out from the soles of your feet.

Roots that look just like the roots of a tree.

Very long, very nobly.

And you can hear your roots growing through the ground.

And you can hear them as they push their way through the soil.

And it tickles just a little bit.

Can you feel it?

Can you feel the soil under your feet?

Can you feel it tickling your toes?

This is called grounding. And this keeps your energy planted in the ground,

so that you too can grow big and strong, just like the tree.
