Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio. So here we are again. Health Secretary Matt Hancock appeared on Julie Hartley-Brews

show this morning and talks about protecting the public from the dreaded and deadly

coronavirus. He talked actually about saving hundreds of thousands of lives. You can't meet

too many people. You can't go to Bolton as if you'd want to and you might not be able to go out

at night soon either. But don't worry. You don't have to worry about anything until Monday. So get your

parties, your raves and your dinners organised quick and get them all sorted out this particular weekend.

You know what? If everything was so dangerous, why are we having to wait until next Monday before we put a new raft of regulations in?

This morning I had the pleasure of listening to a toddler on a bus asking more sensible questions than I've heard in a very long time.

His father was struggling to make any sense of it all,

particularly when he was trying to justify why everyone was wearing a mask. Coming up later on

today, we've got the second Prime Minister's questions with the ever-vigilant Sarkir Starmer

and Boris Johnson, of course. Let's hope it's a bit better than last week, which was trey.
