Citiglipton inhibits dipept peptidase 4. This prevents breakdown of incritin hormones.

And if you remember from physiology, so incritin hormones are important in glucagon, insulin, homeostasis,

GLP1 is an example of one of those hormones. So if you think about GLP1 agonist
