All right, I'm taking this opportunity to catch up on some voicemails. It's been so long since I've heard from you and played your

voices on the show. It's my favorite segment but it has been preempted by a few

things but I'm going to get to those. I've got a few words about some current events to talk about first before we get

into that though and first things first yes every vote counts every single vote we

need to vote this was a Trump plus 20 district, the Pennsylvania 18th, and a Democrat has won by a very narrow margin.

Something like right now, last numbers I saw around the area of 600 votes out of 225,000 or something like that. So, slim, tiny, tiny margin, but that's why no matter where you are in these

elections every vote counts and I encourage you to vote, please vote every

single opportunity opportunity anything.

Connor Lamb was the candidate and he's actually an interesting

example to talk about here because he's something of a centrist.

Centrism might be a minor theme to today's show based on

voicemail I got too, but he is something of a centrist and some people are worried. I think it's something might be worthwhile to think about is

is this going to be a signal for other Democrats running that they need to like

bend to some sort of centrism in order to appeal to Republicans in a Republican district like the

Pennsylvania 18th and also I guess there's another side conversation of how much

progress is this. I know there's always the far lefty uncompromising opinion of

well this wasn't even progress because Connor Lamb he's not that

critical of Trump he is sort of pro-gun he's against an assault weapons ban and

then on abortion this is one that I think is being overblown a little bit.

Connor Lamb's position on abortion is he personally opposes it,

but he is in favor of Roe v. Wade.
