And this is Gabe, and this last week we had kind of a fun

week we got to go out to California which I know for you the winter the winter blues

comes in January and February we're always thinking through how do we get into warmth

and it was like 70 degrees beautiful and we hosted a retreat and we got to be with

Kurt Thompson who's one of our friends somebody who was on season one right he was in episode

for when you feel overwhelmed so if you haven't listened to that in season one go back and

listen to it he's a psychiatrist and a thought leader of faith and what two things he said this last weekend

that really inspired me and reminded me where I want to dig into this more even on this

podcast is how real healing comes in the context of community.

It's almost accelerated in the context of true community where you can know and be known

and without shame. It makes total sense for me because a lot of

trauma comes from the hand of relationship and it would make sense that healing

comes in in the lane of relationship.

And so I love that he said that.

He also talked about how beauty, like beautiful, like seeing beauty can spark healing

in us and this idea that shame that covers beauty right the
