I’m meditating in my bathroom and decided to share another devotional with you. This one deals with the lack of compassion we’re seeing from some people, especially with everything that’s going on in the world, and why it’s so important to be more alert to the suffering of others.

So the title is today I am more alert to the needs of others.

How self-sabotaging is my selfishness when I look but do not see the suffering of others.

Too seldom do I notice the courage of those who wake up each day and do their best with painful circumstances. Today I will be more alert to the suffering of others.
