Tom Pellasaro, NFL Network, reported earlier today that three-time Pro Bowl tight-end,

Zach Ertz plans to play a 14th NFL season and is expected to be cleared right around

week one per sources. He's two months into rehab from a torn ACL. He ranks fifth in catches and

eighth in yards among tight ends in NFL history. God, I had no idea that he was that high up

on the tight end list, including 50 catches for 50 yards and four touchdowns and 13 games in 2025.

He will be a free agent.

He is not under contract for next year.

He's one of Washington's 29 players that will reach on restricted free agency on March 11th.

It will be interesting to see what Zach Ers decides to do or what the team decides

to do with Zacherts. If you miss this story from yesterday, the Falcons used a franchise tag on

Kyle Pitts. That's about a one year 16 million-ish. That's the average of the top five for tight ends deal.

But the Falcons are tagging Kyle Pitts.

There's discussion that they will try to come up with a long-term deal for Kyle Pitts.

I think that there's, you know, with the new regime in Atlanta, with Ian Cunningham as the new GM, Matt

Ryan, by the way, is the team president, and then Kevin Stefansky is the coach, man, I think that

there's going to be some wait and see on Kyle pitch. You got to be careful, you know, because if

he ends up blowing up and he really started to show some signs of consistency towards the back half of Atlanta

season this past year. But, you know, what is he? Is he, you know, is he among the best

tight ends in the game? Talent-wise, he's there. He's just never really realized that talent.

You know, in terms of tight ends, Kate Otten, Isaiah likely, I like Chig Ongo.

He's been in Tennessee for the last few years. I saw him play a lot at Maryland. He was drafted

out of Maryland. He has not had a quarterback at all in Tennessee.
