This one is from Michael George. Let's give it a listen. Hi, Brent. This is Mike George. My question

has to do with transferring solo ideas from my head to my instrument. The problem I run into is not being able to remember everything that I've come up with in my head

and then get that transferred over to my instrument long term.

So I was thinking that maybe what I need to be doing is utilizing the list method for my solos

by recording myself singing my improv ideas and then learning those by ear the same way that I

learn the melody. Do you think that's a good idea?
