All right. Great question. So there's a few terms I want to just talk about here just in case we need to catch others up to speed who are listening to the show today.

There's a couple terms. One is as chord tones and chord tone map. And the other one was enclosure, which is what we're really going to be focusing on today is how do we use enclosures and practice enclosures? So first, we'll just talk about the chord tones and chord tone map. So Stephen is an inner circle member of ours, and we learned a new jazz standard every single

month. And one resource that we provide is something called a chord tone map. And so a chord tone map

is it's pretty simple in concept. The idea is we really want to know the chord tones of a jazz

standard, of the chord progressions going by because the chord tones are kind of like our home base.
