So me and my brother, we live with our grandmom because our parents were unable to take care of us.

My mom was on drugs and my dad had an alcohol problem.

My brother is 14 and we've been living with her for about four years now.

So they've recently just tried to start coming back into our lives and being involved with us.

But I was just wondering how much effort I should put in to spending time with them.

Because I don't like my mom and I don't want to see her. How long have they been cleaning sober?

Well, your mom was out of rehab about two years.

My mom about two years and my dad still not really sober.

I think I guess I think that her mom is not in a good environment.
