Let's get into the mix. Here are your Washington headlines of the day. Number one on the ground in Ohio. Number two, speaker Mike Johnson's

big third quarter. And number three, Outlook for the Kids Online Safety Act is not good. All right,

everybody, happy Monday morning. I hope you all are doing well. We are kicking off this morning with a report from Warren, Ohio, where Andrew DeZadario,

was with Senator Sherrod Brown, the Democrat from Ohio. The question we're asking this morning is,

how do you win re-election as a Democrat in a state that Donald Trump will carry handily?

The answer?

By running against everyone and everything.

That's Senator Brown's theory of the case, at least, as he tries to beat back the political wins in Ohio to win a fourth term

while also salvaging what's left of Democrats' hopes to retain their Senate majority.

Brown used the term both parties and the line saying over and over, over, that politicians

of both parties unfortunately have sold our state out over and over.

He used that line half a dozen times during a two-stop swing through Trump-friendly counties in eastern Ohio on Friday,

Brown is seeking to insulate himself from GOP attacks on a number of issues that dominate the most expensive Senate race in the country.

Brown's strategy of castigating both parties for national problems that have disproportionately impacted Ohio,

from the decimation of the state's manufacturing base, the influx of fentanyl from the southern border, is giving

Democrats hope that he can actually hang on. It's an attempt to appeal to ticket splitters who
