Republican leader. Number two, the latest from the vault. And number three, Mark Kelly on the stump.

All right, Jake, let's get to it. Our very own Andrew Desiderio was on the road in Fort Wayne, Indiana,

and not a place you'd necessarily expect the Senate Republican leadership election

to be on visible because that's really truly one of the ultimate Washington Insiders game,

but because the contenders have spent months courting senators and candidates through a mix of private

meetings, phone calls, fundraising, and campaign travel. It certainly was on top of mind out there in

Indiana. Yeah, that's right. I mean, this race for Senate Republican leaders being fought everywhere,

right? It's being fought in kind of a,, uh, kind of a, not even a shadow

fight, but I mean, all of these candidates, meaning Thune, John Thune, John Cornyn, less so Rick

Scott, because he's up for reelection, um, are, um, uh, going around the country. And Andrew has a,

as a very interesting anecdote, which is Jim Banks,

who's a Republican from Indiana, who's unless, you know, something completely crazy happens,

he's going to be a senator in next term. He is running in a deep red state. Indiana's a deep

red state now. And he had Thune and

Cornyn to campaign with him, or he had Thune and Cornyn's coming. But last week, Andrew was there,
