I was born and raised in the Nashville area and have a passion for protecting and serving. In fact I have spent the last 33 years of my life giving to others. I served in the US Navy for 7 years where I served various roles including security, firefighter and medic. I'm currently in my 26th year with the DCSO where I'm assigned to the warrant division. Im also on the Special Operations Response Team serving as a team leader and sniper. During my time at DCSO l've also been a self defense instructor, firearms instructor and physical fitness instructor. I've been studying martial arts for 24 years on and off where l've recently earned my black belt. I also have an amateur boxing record of 5-1. 0:00.0	about the incident that you experienced a couple years ago when you arrived to the trailer and you assisted a couple officers and uh take us through the events of that day from your perspective yeah it's a calling out's. It's a call for a thousand officer needs help.
0:21.6	It was two female officers.
0:23.6	I'm not sure why they were there, but they need to back up.
0:28.6	So, you know, get there as fast as I can.
0:32.6	I see both female officers outside the trailer.
0:36.6	And I make entry and I see like three or four deputies
0:39.9	fighting with this guy. He was strong. We got down there to try to control his upper body, his arms.
0:49.4	He was going to try to get him cuffed. A couple times, he turned his head and tried to bite me.
0:58.9	So some force was used a few times, try to control them.
1:10.5	So during that whole incident, we were holding them and you could just feel the life of just disappear out of his body.
1:21.6	Like he just went limp while we was holding him.
1:24.6	How many people were holding him?
1:26.6	One, two, three, four.
1:28.5	One on each extremity.
1:29.9	And what was the original call for?
1:32.2	I know you came to assist two officers who were already there, but what was the original call?
1:37.9	Do you know?
1:38.5	I think the two female officers were trying to do an eviction.
1:41.9	And he turned on him, pulled a knife, and just went south from there.
1:49.0	Gotcha.
1:49.4	So you show up and you guys got four guys on them, or you and another guy and two women?
1:54.6	No, the two women were outside.
