Social dreaming.

It is a methodology to explore the unconscious dimension of the social world.

What our individual dreams can tell us about the broader social consciousness?

It's a method whereby people share dreams with each other on the premise that dreams

can tell you something about groups of people rather than just about the individual dreamer.

So dreams might have information about what's happening in society

or what's happening in your family

or what might be happening in groups that you're part of.

And before that, Franco Fabini. You might remember seeing moving

You might remember seeing moving videos on social media after areas of Italy were locked down due to the COVID pandemic.

People were leaning out their individual apartment windows, alone, but creating a type of collective magic by singing together.

And perhaps in the same way, we dream as individuals,

but by sharing them with others,

we can gain an insight into the hopes and anxieties of broader society.
