And I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good

thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. What a great verse.

As Paul is here talking about how sharing our faith, both sharing the gospel and just sharing

faith with other brothers and sisters in Christ, is good for others, but it's also

good for us, that it becomes effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us

for the sake of Christ. Think about that. When you share faith with other brothers and sisters in Christ and you encourage them in faith,

you build them up in faith, is that good for you?

Yes, of course it's good for them, but think about it.

It's also really good for you to be built up in your own faith as you're sharing faith with others. It's leading you

to a deeper understanding, appreciation of all the good things that you have in you for the sake

of Christ. And then the same thing's true when we share the gospel with other people around us.

When we share the greatest news in the world with other people, the love of God, the love of Jesus who died on a cross and rose from the dead

so we can have hope and peace and joy that supersedes this world and everything in it.

When we share that with others, we realize in even greater ways how glorious that news is

and how much we need it.

Like it's good for us to share the gospel with others.

So God, we pray for your glory and for others good and for our own good

that you would help us to share our faith today. God help us to build up other brothers and sisters in Christ, to encourage others in their faith,

to talk with others about who you are and what you've done for us and all your promises to us

that this would saturate our conversations in such a way that we
