Queen Elizabeth was a life well lived, a promise with destiny kept, and she is mourned most deeply in her party.

Stars come and go, but Queen Elizabeth persisted as perhaps

the world's biggest celebrity for over 70 years. She was the glue that held the Commonwealth

together. Just last Tuesday, the Queen met with England's new Prime Minister, Liz Truce, and by Thursday she was dead,

and Charles was King.

As the Queen herself did with such unswerving devotion, I too now solemnly pledged myself

throughout the remaining time God grants me to uphold the constitutional principles at the heart of our nation.

And wherever you may live in the United Kingdom or in the realms and territories across the world,

and whatever may be your background or beliefs, I shall endeavor to serve you with loyalty, respect,

and love as I have throughout my life.

Like the United States, England is having economic woes.

But there's a much, much worse than ours.

The pound has plummeted. The cost of living has never been higher.

Inflation is in the double digits and the price of utilities is expected to go up as much as

80% this coming winter. Thanks of course in large part to the war in Ukraine and Putin fucking all

of Europe out of oil.
