Monday, President Biden was at the Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston,

marking the 60th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's famous moonshot speech.

Kennedy made it a goal for Americans to launch a man into space and suddenly every kid wanted to be an astronaut.

Biden told the crowd that his moonshot goal is ending cancer because just about every American has been affected by it.

Even the president's own son, Bo, who died of brain cancer in 2015.

And in choosing to go to the moon, President Kennedy said America was doing so,

quote, not because it was easy, but because it was hard.

Because the goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energy and skills because

that challenge is one that we are willing to accept.

And then on Tuesday, the president was in the Rose Garden, taking a well-deserved victory

lap for passing the historic inflation reduction act.

But his timing was a little off.

Tuesday's economic report shows prices is still rising on just about everything, except for gasoline.
