Queen Elizabeth was a life well lived, a promise with destiny kept and she is

mourned most deeply in her passing.

Stars come and go but Queen Elizabeth persisted as perhaps the world's biggest

celebrity for over 70 years. She was the glue that held the Commonwealth together.

Just last Tuesday the Queen met with England no Prime Minister, Liz Truss and by

Thursday she was dead and Charles was king.

As the Queen herself did with such unswerving devotion I too now solemnly

pledge myself throughout the remaining time God grants me to uphold the

constitutional principles at the heart of our nation and wherever you may live

in the United Kingdom or in the realms and territories across the world and

whatever may be your background or beliefs. I shall endeavor to serve you with

loyalty, respect and love as I have throughout my life.

Like the United States England is having economic woes but there's a much

much worse than ours. The pound has plummeted the cost of living has never

been higher. Inflation is in the double digit and the price of utilities is

expected to go up as much as 80% this coming winter. Thanks of course in large

part to the war in Ukraine and potent fucking all of Europe out of oil and into

this void steps two new leaders with opposing points of view. Truss and Arch

conservative and Charles a liberal with a lifelong desire to save the planet.

I mean maybe not a love match. Earlier this week at 96 she remained determined to

carry out her duties as she appointed me as her 15th Prime Minister. Throughout
