Many of you wonder how I pick the weekly episodes and to be honest, there is no real rhyme or reason to my case selection.

Sometimes it's to honor a particular month, for example, women's history month, Hispanic heritage month, or the month of the military child.

Sometimes it's a listener-recommended case that had me going down a rabbit hole.

Sometimes I have a case picked out and when I sit down to really dig in, research and write,

there are just too many holes for me to properly cover the case without further reach back to people involved in a case.

And sometimes, as in this week, the listener requests for one particular case are overwhelming.

In just the last few weeks, I have had close to a dozen requests for this particular case.

And when I started digging, my jaw was on the floor.
