Today's case was first recommended to me by my good friend Simone from 90's Crime Time Podcast.

It's one of those cases that will leave you scratching your head wondering, wait, what happened?

How did two military families lives collide in the most horrendous of ways?

When you hear about stories like Vanessa Guillén and you see and hear the pain of the aftermath of such a murder,

it leaves you raw inside wondering how can you protect your daughters and sons, the ones who want to follow in your footsteps and join the military.

When a child is returned from a military assignment in a casket and someone hands their loved ones a folded up flag,

many people think, wow, what a life to die for one's country.

But in today's case, Lisa Bryant did not give her life for her country.

Her life was snuffed out by a man who wouldn't take no for an answer.

As we prepare to enter the month of April, sexual assault awareness month, I want to remind everyone, both men and women,
