All right, so you have a two or three year old who knows how to screen, long and loud, and it usually

works you give in.

I'm John Fuller along with Danny Werta, head of our parenting department, and Danny, they might be small, but children do learn pretty early on that I can get what I want

if I just raise a big enough stink.

Especially in public places.

Yes.

When everybody else is watching, you just want it to stop.

And very true, they learn from an early age.

They begin to train the parents

on how to respond to them when they scream.

Once they learn that, there are going to be some embarrassing moments that you endure

to train them on how the screaming works.

And we're going to hear now about how you can train a screaming child

to calm down.
