You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind,

a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination.

That's the signpost up ahead, Your next stop, the Twilight Zone.

Quite why May 11th is known is known as Twilight Zone Day, nobody seems to know.

Is it a tribute to Rod Serling's military regiment, the 511th? Maybe.

Or is it purposely kept a mystery just to fit with the spirit of the show?

We'll likely never know the answer, but does it really matter? If there's an excuse to celebrate

our favourite series and its creator, then I'm all for it. But as we hit mid-20206, fans of the Twilight Zone actually have quite a bit to be thankful for.

We have the IDW comic series which is keeping the flame burning, or at least the conversation

going.

We have the Roddy McDowell biography, an actor's story, which I discussed last episode with its author Samuel Garza Bernstein.

But there's also something that we haven't touched on yet.

The upcoming Rod Sling biography by Rolling

Stones Alan Sepin War. It's titled Sailing, A Journey Into the Twilight Zone with TV's First Visionary.

We also have the 10th anniversary of Sailingfest in Bingham to New York this August and I'll be sharing details on what I'll be doing there very soon.

But one of the guests this year is director Jonah Thuleus,

who'll be discussing his new documentary, Sailing,

which just premiered at SXW, the Film and Television Festival, back in March.

Now I couldn't make it to SXSW myself, but thankfully our man in Buda, Texas was there to share

the event with us.

Now I love it when we can do this.
