This is episode 639 in a collector series. 639, can you believe it? And we're

coming to you from the custom hotel in Los Angeles, California. Here we are getting

all prepped and ready. Some of us even sneezing in preparation. Were you sneezing

or opening a bottle of aspirin, my love? Both. Sneezing while opening a bottle of aspirin.

We're here in preparation for the big TBTL live show on Thursday night. And so as part

of that and as part of our slow and I do mean slow takeover of the American media landscape,

we're actually giving a little speech at the University of Southern California. That

would be overstating it, giving a speech. We're meeting with a very, very small group of grad

students and I guess talking about our lame podcast. But we're doing that and then we're

going to be running through the various events for the live show from the Trubidor on Thursday

night and trying to find some furniture to put on the stage and basically doing a bunch

of stuff. All of which makes it very, very hard for us to do a brand new original

TBTL for you today. But the good news is we've got some really fun stuff in store for you today

and the even better news is tomorrow, Thursday. We will do a complete new original show for you.

Me and Jen will get together. We'll see if we can get Sean to Tori, Japan's number one mixer in

there and we're going to have a real fun time telling you just how nervous we are to take the

stage at the Trubidor. All right. So what do we have in store for you today? Well, I was

poking around in the shows of a year ago to try to find something worth playing and wouldn't

you know it? I stumbled upon a show from almost exactly one year ago on this date and it was

the show during which we announced to all of you that in fact TBTL was going to stop being a radio
