Hey, Frendos. This is Luke. Welcome to a Tuesday afternoon edition of TBTL. As you're hearing

this, I am running around like a crazy person pulling things together for the TBTL LA show

on Thursday night. And I'm also getting on an airplane flying down there. So this is not

a great day for me to do a live local edition of TBTL. But never fear. We've got something

very special on tape for you. You know how I keep going on about how the show used to be

really awesome when we worked at the radio station. And we had Jen as the full-time producer

of the program, Sean, the man pushing the buttons. My job then was to just talk and be hilarious.

And I did. And I was. So the other day, I was just poking around in some of the old shows,

seeing the kind of stuff that we used to get up to. And I hit on a gem that I had almost

completely forgotten about. We used to do lots of concept shows. And hopefully we'll do

some in the future because as I listen back to some of them, I was like, man, that was actually

pretty decent radio. One of them was on a Friday night in the middle of the summer. We decided

to help people basically learn how to do everything in their life better. At least everything

in the next 48 hours. So one hour of the show, I think we had advice for people on what to do

if they get trapped in a bar overnight. And also had to put on eye makeup. Don't ask why those

were the topics we decided on. We did for some crazy reason. We also talked to my parents about

how to stay married for like a million years because they've been married for like a million years.

Also known as 30. But maybe the most entertaining hour of the how-to show that we did was the

middle hour when we talked about how to get great deals on things. And we talked to a lady named

Katie Springer. Now her name is Katie Nuckbauer. But back then she was just Katie Springer. She was

engaged to her man, Jeff. And Katie was then and still as I assume, just crazed for the bargain

deals. And there's one special place for her that kind of reigns supreme in terms of her
