that have come into the ministry over the last few months. I'm not always able to respond to

every question that comes in, and I'm not always able to respond to every question that comes in

and I'm not able to always do it straight away, but I do take your question seriously and I want to

try and give you the best response possible. And these bonus episodes give us the opportunity

to go through some of these questions. And thanks so much for those of you who are writing

Firstly, let's start with a question from Mariana. She says, I'm Portuguese living in Poland

with my husband and five kids. I started to listen to your podcast through the Hello app and

you have already become part of my morning ritual. Thank you. I want to share a different interpretation of today's

gospel I heard from a priest I know, and Mariana here is going to refer to the parable of the lost

sheep. He said that in that time period when a sheep got lost and the shepherd found it,

he would most likely kill it because it could do the same thing

again and lead the others to do the same. If indeed it was like this, the more shocking

is Jesus saying that the shepherd would celebrate instead of killing it. I have no idea if it
