Hi everyone. Welcome to Logical Bible Study. In this podcast, we try to do an exegesis of scripture,

0:18.6

so from a Catholic perspective, really diving into the text

0:21.6

and looking at it in quite an academic way. So it's basically a verse by verse study of the Bible.

0:27.4

And in this podcast, we look at the gospel readings that you would encounter at today's mass.

0:32.1

So if you go to Catholic Mass, it moves through the four Gospels on different days of the year.

0:38.2

How can you say to your brother, brother, let me take out the splinter that is in your eye,

1:28.3

when you cannot see the plank in your own?

1:31.6

Hypocrite, take the plank out of your own eye first, and then you will see clearly enough

1:37.5

to take out the splinter that is in your brother's eye.

1:43.0

So that's our passage for today, and we're continuing in the sermon on the plane.

1:47.2

So this is about in the middle of the sermon on the plane, which takes up the bulk of

1:51.4

Luke chapter 6.

1:52.6

Now, we talked about the purpose of the sermon on the plane when we started it a couple of
