We can reset our Patriots thoughts just about the importance of this week.

Usually in the past, when the Patriots have been a good team and they've suffered a bad loss, especially early in the season, it's immediately followed by sort of a big bounceback statement win. The last two that come to mind are 2014, on to Cincinnati game, which followed the last loss to Kansas City. You want to go back to 2003, the Loyal Malloy game in Buffalo. Everyone sort of panics, and the next week they have a statement win

in Philadelphia. So there's been

several those over the course of this run here

with Belichick and the Patriots. So

that's what I'm looking for this week. That sort of bounce

back statement win. And if they

don't get it, then I think we're on to something. Then,

you know, you can really start to... In terms of trouble and red flags and small P. Panic or maybe big P. Panic. And I would be big P. Panic because that Saints defense, to me, is still atrocious. They don't have the same weapons that they've had in the past, especially at wide receiver. And Willie Sneed's been suspended for the first four games, so they got a break there. So their second second wide out. If you look at their depth chart, is Ted Ginn Jr.

Okay, they have Adrian Peterson.

And if he has a big game tonight, I think you've got to take that with a grain of salt, because he's going against the Vikings, and he feels like it was wrong there. Yeah, they have Drew Brees. But they should win that game. I'm not going to be shocked if it's 42-38, the Patriots win it, but as long as they win it, I'll be happy.

So I'll see the bounce back.
