It's twofold.

One is, you do it right after that kind of loss?

Then it's just, well, we hate this new turf. And again, Hook just said it in our update. They installed it in May. Yeah. So we hated it for the second they put it in there, and we don't like it, so we're going to swap it out this summer after the country fest or whatever. And they did it before the game. by doing it after the game.

It sort of feels like excuse making,

which is what it felt like in 2006 when they did it the first time after the Jets game. Now, if it comes out that they were always planning to do it and they were waiting for after the Chiefs game, because again, country fest or whatever the hell is going on down there, then fine. I'll feel a little bit better about that. But just like making that decision, it just comes off a little bit like excuse-making. That's one. The second thing that bugs me about it is that they're a turf team. Don't you hate that? There's sort of built on speed and fancy offense, and they're a turf team and not a grass team. That's just a small little aesthetic thing that I hate. I'm a little bit surprised, too, and it didn't look like they had any issues with it or any kind of footing. Because, again, the one play that really stood out is when Alex Smith dropped back, and he basically sacked himself because he lost his footing on there. But you read this thing, it sounds like there's been complaints in the offseason, again just got put in there in May so maybe
