Like my take on that whole situation with the Jersey patches and the whole celebration,

I don't think anybody in the New England area hates all of that more than Bill. I might take on, I mean, all that stuff is all craft stuff. That's for the thing. Like, I'm the biggest hunk there is. I'm the guy. I go out. I bought one of those jerseys. I bought this stupid grub craft shoes. But all that stuff, I think Bill hates it more than anything. The jersey patches, all that stuff. And yes, I honestly think that on the negative side of that, I think that that might have played a part as a distraction. You know, little things like that, the pregame celebration, the pompousness of everything that we were doing.

I think that played a part.

I do. It doesn't help, and Bill would say ignore the noise. Thursday was kind of noisy, wouldn't you say? Oh, my God. And the team contributed to some of it. And so you just, like, Bill's going to have to just play along with some of it. I mean, so opening night, you won the championship. There's going to be a banner. Like, you just can't avoid, you can't ignore the fact on that night.

But do the Patriots go too far with it? The patches, I can't imagine. I've heard this in the past. I don't know what it is like they're down now. But back when I cover the team and whatnot, I don't think he allowed images of the Lombardi trophy inside the stadium. like they weren't allowed to show it in the game presentation.
