Did you turn with me in the scriptures this evening to a couple of openings?

We're going to Hebrews 7 and we're going to 2 Corinthians 6.

Hebrews 7 and 2nd Corinthians 6.

Now we began some weeks ago on this series that we're calling separate from sin.

Separate from sin.

Anytime you start talking about sin, people, you know, don't know what to think sometimes.

They generally look at it as a negative in talking about the subject at all.

But if there had not been any sin, there wouldn't have been any need for Jesus to come.

Right? Sin is a huge issue with mankind. Now, thank God for us who believe it's not an issue.

Jesus has taken care of the sin problem.

But you and I have the responsibility of walking uprightly before him in what he's given us freely through the blood.

Now let's look here in Hebrews 7, then we just go directly to 2 Corinthians 6, Hebrew 7, 25, and 26 in the amplified,

I'm reading.

He said, he's able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through him, since he's

always living to make petition to God and intercede with him and intervene for them,

here is the high priest perfectly adapted to our needs as was fitting holy,

blameless, unstained by sin, separated from sinners and exalted higher than the heavens.

Jesus is holy, blameless, unstained by sin, separate from sin.

Hallelujah.

Exalted higher than the heavens.

And is he not our ultimate example?

Are we to be like him?
