Would you turn with me this morning to 1 Peter, the second chapter, and let's continue on in what the Lord has led us to do.

He said, you as living stones, verse 5, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

First Chronicle 1629, don't turn there, but he said, give to the Lord the glory he deserves, bring your offering and come to worship him, worship the Lord in all his holy splendor.

Come and worship the Lord and bring your offering.

I don't think that's been emphasized like it should be.

Some of many times people have been afraid to say much about offerings

because people want to talk and yeah and say negative things about it

but man when you get in the word the lord told his people he said come before me

these certain times and he said don't come empty

what's that mean

bring your offerings right

now that's not a man talking that's not a man talking

That's not a preacher talking

That's the Lord

He said come before me

And if you look at it

He commanded them to party

He did read it sometime

He said don't be sad

He said come and rejoice

And bring your offerings Come and rejoice.

And bring your offerings.
