We've been in this book on Amen podcast, the main channel podcast for a very long time.

And we're going to be here for a very long time to the point where we had to start this podcast.

Because there's so many nuggets in Matthew, we can't fit them all into the main channel podcast.

And he called to him his 12 disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal every disease and every affliction. The names of the 12 apostles are these. First Simon, who is called Peter, Andrew, his brother, James, the son of Zebedee, John, his brother, Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew, the tax collector, James, the son of

Alpheus, and Thaddeus, Simon, the zealot, and Judas Ascariat, who betrayed him.

Underline that in your Bibles, who betrayed him.

Notice it says that Jesus sent them out with the ability to heal every disease and affliction, to cast out demons.

They had this power and this authority and they were sent in it.

Yet one of them was not bent towards Jesus.

You see, you can be sent by God, but not bent towards God.

That's Judas. We know what happens to Judas but not bent towards God. That's Judas.

We know what happens to Judas.

He betrays Jesus.
