First, let's settle in together with the sound of the bells. So through my work over the years it has become very clear to me that many people walk around in their lives feeling

unworthy, unworthy of love, not able to accept themselves, not feeling like they're

worth self-acceptance or compassion, and it's one of the biggest things that creates stress and suffering.

And so the usual way of going about this often subconsciously

is we try to change ourselves and our circumstances to create a felt sense of

worth and love. The right relationship, the right job, the right living arrangements, all of which can be useful.

But the question I want to pose to you today is how much will you need to change

before you're worthy of love and acceptance?

How much will you need to change before you're worthy of love and

acceptance? And this isn't just for those of us that might really be struggling with self-worth.

You might feel for yourself that this isn't something you think about, but we're all navigating

this on some level.

It's wired into us to want to feel a sense of worth,

to feel accepted, to feel loved.

So even if it doesn't feel like it's that prevalent, there's a good chance that a lot of your motivations and thoughts and behaviors are coming from a place of trying to either get more sense of worth or reinforce or maintain a sense of worth and love and acceptance.
