Years and years and years of choosing comfort over discomfort actually creates

on comfort.

Hey what's up? I'm re-listening to a wonderful book called The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson,

and if you haven't listened to it,

I strongly recommend it.

You know, he just drives home this killer point

that I believed and preached and coached around for decades.

And it's simply this, you have a choice every single day to be

uncomfortable for a month a year maybe three or four so you can then be really

comfortable for the rest of your career.

On the flip side, what are the vast majority people do?

They seek comfort in the beginning of their business.

Or they seek comfort when things aren't going well.

They seek comfort. They aren't going well.

They seek comfort.

They want to be comfortable in their business

instead of acknowledging that all the growth is in discomfort.

All the growth is in discomfort if you're constantly seeking comfort.

Like I don't want to make my phone calls because it makes me feel uncomfortable.

So I'm going to seek comfort.

What you end up with is years of comfort as your income goes down, as your swag goes down, as your

brand goes down, and then you know what happens? Years and years and years of choosing comfort
