Today we cover the handshake. The handshake is the most important professional

greeting in the world today. There are many cultures in the world and there

are places to bow, places to hug and places where cheek kissing is perfectly appropriate.

My restaurant partners, for example, are Italian and I know this all too well. However the handshake is

the preferred greeting for most of our audience. Now silly enough as it sounds there

are lots of folks who could benefit from a better understanding of the handshake and

how exactly do it for maximum effect.

You're going to do business in the world or if you're a manager at a multinational corporation,
