The After six years of podcasting, we can finally close the door on season two of the Twilight Zone.

But what about the show itself at the time?

In the Twilight Zone companion,

Mark Zickri says that spring of 1961 was very much like a replay of spring the previous year

when season one had ended. The show won a Hugo Award. It won Emmy Awards. It won an award for

outstanding contribution to race relations

So people were noticing that this was a quality product

Now CBS at this point we're considering going into season 3

Extending it to hour long shows and as we know that didn't happen and

Rod Serling said at the time frankly I'm glad of it.

We can keep that vignette approach.

So two seasons in, there is 65 episodes of mostly really high quality television.

I'm looking forward to seeing how that maintains in season three. But before we do,

I mentioned a few episodes back there. I would like to invite some listeners onto the show to talk

some Twilight Zone 2. If you put your name into the hat and haven't been chosen, it was completely

at random. So thank you for putting your name in. I do appreciate it. But I did pull out one ringer because everyone who put their name in to come on the show, they were all male and I did want to get a female voice onto the show as well.
