The Hey all you beautiful people and welcome to the Glorious and the

mundane podcast I'm your host Christy Knox I'm back at least for a moment I do

realize that it's like a thing that I just kind of come and go with this podcast. I've told you before that even my friends,

Annie Downs, who has a real podcast. She makes fun of me and says that I just get tired and do podcast whenever I went.

Well I'm back and it's not because I was tired but because I've had a hundred things going on like all of you do

and I've said it to you a hundred times and I hope that all

100 times that you receive it as permission to press pause on something in your own life

so that you're hopefully treating your life like a garden.

Sometimes you need to tend to the most pressing and precious things,

knowing that the other things are fine to grow wildly on their own for a little bit.

I trust that all of you are growing wildly on your own and

that you've been blossoming and springing up and that there are some months that I can just

pop in on you and say hello and we can spend some time together.

This is one of those times.

I will say it again when I do get back to this little gardening spot,

no matter how long it's been, I have such a sense of joy spring up in me getting to prepare and record.

It is life giving when I get to circle back to this place,

so that's a wonderful thing.
