The Hey all you beautiful people and welcome to the Glorious and the

mundane podcast I'm your host Christy Nockels I will admit that it's been a

minute but that it's great to be back with you for a few episodes this fall.

I know for many of you you're having to, whether you like it or not, settle back into a routine

with school getting back into session.

I know that some of you are probably kicking and screaming and

others of you it couldn't have come fast enough. Wherever you find yourself today, I do pray a sense of peace as we all move towards the changing of a season together.

For some of us it's going to come quicker than we even know and we were reminded of that a few weeks

ago as we did our Christmas tour photo shoot in August and on top of that it fell on a week that happened to be hitting almost a hundred degree temperatures around here.

We were sweating in our sweaters to say the least. Our family has had a very

busy summer. I can't decide actually if busy is the right word. It more like full it's just been a full

summer I've told you this before but we have a Father's Day, Nathan's birthday,

our anniversary and Annie Rose's birthday all crammed into the month of June.

So many wonderful things altogether at once and trying to make each one of those things uniquely special

is kind of next to impossible as hard as I try. Nathan and I usually just try to make sure that

Annie Rose's birthday is special and we kind of start there and we work backwards. I know that we need to make

our anniversary special and we're working on that.

Thankfully this year it fell right as we landed back at Lost Valley Ranch in Colorado

together for our family vacation.

So on our anniversary we did have a dinner hall. together for our family vacation.
