This is always such a month of anticipation, isn't it?

We have gone back and forth between a monsoon

here in Nashville and pretty much the North Pole.

Literally a few weeks ago, there were areas of Nashville that were on alert that might have to like

evacuate because of flooding.

That's how much rain we've had. So yeah, these areas, especially areas of the city that

had to evacuate back in the flood of 2010 that happened here in Nashville, they were on high alert.

Our family moved to Atlanta in 2008, so we actually missed the 2010 flood here in Nashville,

so we kind of don't know what the high alert is about.

In fact, we didn't even come back for a visit anytime around when that flood happened.

So we've kind of had to Google what happened here in Nashville.

And if you Google it, the Nashville flood of 2010, you won't even believe your eyes.

It's hard for me to even fathom that it took place here.

There's very little evidence that I can see that it ever even happened, but I can understand

why people are on high alert a few weeks ago with all the

rain after I did a refresher on what actually happened.

So in 2010 in Nashville, they got just shy of 14 inches of rain in just 36 hours.
