I’m so excited to hone in on this theme of “Come Magnify the Lord with Me” - I love the invitation of Psalm 34:3, “oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Essentially, David is saying, “come join me in blessing the Lord.” What does it look like to bless the Lord? What happens in terms of our own blessing ...

podcast I'm your host Christy Nacles I have to say that it's wonderful to be back with you

and to be back in podcast creating land. It's a lot of work I'm remembering as I've entered

back in but it's a beautiful work that keeps me engaged and I love that. It keeps me

discovering and having to engage in God's heart myself for it to be an authentic

work. I will say too that it keeps me learning the balance of being in God's

presence without bringing work into that space with me.

That's a big one for me right now.

So it's good to figure out podcast time

and then time where I'm just learning to spend time with the Lord

and trust him with the content creating later when it's time to do that.

As an artist, I'm easily inspired so often I can get pretty AEDD when I'm spending time with the Lord, or I'll get inspired with a song or content for the

podcast that I can find myself going down a bunny trail really fast of finding food for

others when God is really just desiring first and foremost that I learned

to come to the table as a child first and for Him to feed me.

I'm also learning that I'm not an orphan and neither are you. We are not only

invited to the table today but we don't have to come to the table and beg.

One of our Bible teachers at church, Christine McLellan, she opened her message the other morning with this.

And it was just so beautiful, she reminded us

that our posture and coming to receive the word of God isn't us scraping for scraps, but it's us

coming to the table and it's a table that's plentiful. There's enough for today and

there will be enough all over again for tomorrow.
