mundane podcast I'm your host Christy Nacles. Happy November to you. How did we

possibly get here already?

I feel like I just finished the summer in the Psalm series

and now here we are saying out loud

that we're officially heading into the holiday season,

full on, according to the Hallmark Channel, we were already

there even before Halloween, so there's that. Jenny Allen and I just finished up

the Freedom Project Tour this past week.

I love so much getting to come around those women

together, city after city with Jenny,

and sort of just get to cheer on what God is already doing. And so many women in these places. We saw homes being

used as spiritual hubs for prayer gatherings and brunches. We saw women coming together each literally just using their own giftings

to begin to kind of pull off these gatherings for women in their cities month after month.

We listened. We heard about even places of

struggle. We put our arms around them. We heard about hope in places where

churches are merging and women whose hearts have become knitted together by prayer

and running their race alongside each other. I think about the fact that we were just in Charlotte

this past week and met a group of incredible women who are

infiltrating the city there with hope and with the love of Jesus and then to

hear of a school shooting only a few days after we left in Matthews. I was so

devastated to hear of it and at the same time I thought about those women we just
