And it's a Saturday. And usually that's

always meant that Jeff Simmons and I can hang out and talk ball. But it's been a while. I think

it's been a few weeks since we've been able to hang out. It's good to see you, buddy. How's it going?

It's good, man. I was in a bit of a different world for a couple weeks with my team's baseball run. And I think it's a little raw for some people in my city. But for you guys, I think it's a little calmer now. But there was never a point in my life I can remember during October where I was almost distracted away from football. Like, you guys know me. I listen to listened to everything obviously the way that my team

lost was pretty bad and then it's been nice to kind of get back into it in that that sunday night

game my god was that ever needed for me i was in a dark place that day i didn't know if i wanted to watch

and that didn't even feel real so it's been and then that's allowed me to just kind of get back

snap back in reality the The trade deadline was awesome.

I've been back on my podcast, listening to that again.

It's been a nice, a nice little week here.

It feels normal again.

You know, for people that don't know the backstory, I mean, when the Blue Jays lost and the way they lost, you were down bad, man.
