first time, then welcome usually on this podcast. We track the evolution and history of the horror

genre by looking at particular sub genres one series at a time. However, we're bringing you a

little bonus episode today to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Wes Craven's scream. Can you

believe it's been 25 years? That is absolutely insane. You've probably noticed there's been a lot

of scream buzz in the air over these last couple of weeks. That's because a trailer just dropped

for the new screen movie, which is coming to cinemas in January. That's not called scream 5. It's

just called scream confusingly. Later on in this episode, I'm going to be joined by friend of the

pod Josh Tonks and we're going to be talking a little bit about our memories of the original

scream from 25 years ago, but we'll also be speculating on the new upcoming screen movie and we

will be dissecting that trailer for the new screen movie a little bit. So that's all to come later on

in this episode, but also I got the chance to sit down and chat to two of the stars of the

original screen movie, Matthew Lillard and Skit Ulrich, aka Billy and Stu to talk about their memories

of making the original scream 25 years ago. And of course, this coincides nicely with a brand
