Hello everyone. Matt Williamson here. How's everything going? Hope you're doing as well as I am. No complaints. I was down at the Steelers facility today. Very busy down there. Pits got stuff going on. no parking, a whole bunch of players participating for

the Steelers, a bunch of media today, good lunch, all that good stuff. I recorded a video,

all kinds of good things going on. I got to watch some practice. But the big news is obviously

Aaron Rogers told reporters after practice that this will be his last year. He is retiring.

I don't even know that that's super noteworthy. I think you can look at it a couple ways.

I'm sure some people will be like, oh, if the season goes wrong, his heart's not going to be in it.

Maybe. I mean, there's some human nature stuff there.

Or you could look at it like Elway's last ride. He's going to put his body on the line one final time.

Maybe. I mean, I think that's possible. What I do know is he is very proud and very aware of his legacy and reputation.

And he could be the worst football player in the league next year.

And he's still, of course, going to the Hall of Fame and will be considered one of the best

quarterbacks that ever lived.

But I don't think in any way does he want to go out on a sour note. I think

you're going to get everything from this guy. And I really just being around him, observing him,

I think that's what he is. So I'm not looking too much into this. I'm sure he's given it an

awful lot of thought.

I don't even know that it's a huge story at this point. It is because we're in the middle of May and there's just not as much to talk about, even though, you know, OTAs, mini-camp, etc.

are going to be going on these couple weeks. I'm sure he's, you know, gave it thought in each of the last several off seasons.

He apparently feels as though he can still play at a reasonably high level. And we can argue what

that level is, but I definitely think it's an NFL starting quarterback level. I'm hoping that he'll put his body in harm's way a little

bit more in terms of not necessarily running or just maybe holding the football in the

pocket a little bit more, let routes over the middle develop a little bit more, uncork some
