last night in St. Louis. It's not the what, it's the how.

It's that they got offense from all over. It's that they got pitching from all over. It's that they got one of their better defensive plays of the year from Jake Mangum out in right field.

But above all, if I may, it's that they got 10 hits out of the bottom four in their order. Now say what you want about Connor Griffin being

in the bottom four. You'll notice that he's already kind of quietly slid up from seventh to sixth.

And I had told you way back in spring training that that was the plan. It was to start him

low, keep everything cool, don't overdo it. And as he works his way up, it'll all come when it's

time. Well, Griffin's gone four for five last night.

He has a seven-game hitting streak.

His batting averages up to 278 is OPS at 738.

He's really good.
