Give me a baller, all that good stuff.

So I've often referenced Warren Sharp in his book,

but one of his cohorts at Sharp Football, Rich Rebar, who usually

is very fantasy-oriented. He does great, great work. But once a year, he puts out an article of

big trends in the NFL. And the one that I really want to cite

is how new kickoff rules

changed NFL scoring in 2025.

And the beginning of our conversation

isn't going to be pretty generic about the kickoff rules and all that.

However, I think this is very stealer relevant, and we will get to that soon.

So we know two years ago, 2004, they introduced the dynamic kickoff,

and that turned a touchback into a, it goes to the 30-yard line, of course.

And there were more kickoff returns because of that in 2024.

But the NFL still said, let's take it a step further, of course.

So last year, as I'm sure all you know, the touchbacks were moved to start at the 35-yard line. And Rich has all this stuff

down here that the touchback percentage is wild. So in 2023, before the rules were changed,

73% of the league, there are 73% of kickoffs across the league were

touchbacks.

2004, year one of the dynamic is 64.5%.
