There's a scandal of sorts brewing in the Buddhist world and it involves a former guest

on this show.

Sakyong Mipam Rinpoche who wrote a book about the art of conversation and is the leader

of Shambhala International was on the show a couple months ago and has subsequently

announced that he's stepping aside amidst an investigation into his alleged sexual abuse

of students.

And it goes beyond that for Shambhala International which is a big organization and at least by

meditation standards a pretty big organization has centers all over the place all over the

country and in Canada and perhaps even beyond.
