I'm Dan Savage, and this, of course, is the once a week out loud version of my

sex advice column, Savage Love.

Before we get to your calls and their Legion, I wanted to alert all the straight people

out there.

I've

ranted and raved about this frequently, but it needs to be emphasized over and over and over

again. The same people who want to deprive all the homos in the world, all the little homos of their

civil rights, you know, a lot of straight people stand by, watch that happen, think, oh, too bad.

It doesn't really affect me.

Not really going to give it too much of his shit.

Straight people need to know the same people who want to repress the homos are also coming for the heteros.

And they have a longer list, as I've said of the Pope.

They have a longer list of restrictions and nose for the straight people than they do for the gay people. Their nose for the gay people are just don't. Period. End of discussion. Don't. You don't exist. Go back in the closet. Get out of here. Their list of nose to straight people much longer. You know, you can't get an abortion. You know, they want to make it harder to get a divorce if you decide you want to get a divorce.

And increasingly, the same people who've made abortion harder to get, harder to come by and more contentious in the United States than it is anywhere else in the Western world are coming after birth control.

They want to redefine birth control as abortion.

And they're having a little protest rally on June 7th,

part of the escalating campaign against birth control.

These are the same people who scream and yell that they want to bring the abortion rate down
