If you want to keep your straight conservative readers lay off politics.

Stick with what you know, and that is gay sex mostly.

First, at the very real risk of permanently losing Kelly,

fuck Donald Trump and fuck the Republican Party.

And while I know I have conservative readers,

because conservatives have been threatening

to stop reading my column for nearly three decades now, I'm not going to leave politics alone,

not until politicians learn to leave sex alone.

But so long as politicians are out there trying to regulate who we fuck, who we love, who

we marry, who we are, what we put in our bodies, what kind of sex

education we get, whether we can access birth control, whether we can get abortions.

Yeah, I'm not going to be able to lay off politics.

And for the record, Kelly, more than 80% of the letters that appear in Savage Love and

an overwhelming majority of the calls here on this podcast are from straight people and about straight sex. Kelly, darling, if something is about you

80 plus percent of the time and it feels like it's not about you at all, that says something
